A playcaller is a term in basketball, mostly applies to the nerds who want to fit in with everyone else. Say you're breaking his ankles and you "travel" even though you hopstepped. He just playcalled. It's already over though, you broke his ankles. His reputation is already over. Everyone is screaming "OHHHH".

In a nutshell, a playcaller is someone who calls "out of bounds" or "foul" or "i didnt score 2.2 ppg pls forgive"
