Caleb deposited most of his life savings in order to gain the attention of a twitch streamer so she would say his name aloud. He was a gweko.

geekological clock

Much like a woman's biological clock concept; your geekological clock is a figurative concept of when you've gone far too long without owning something that your geek self deems imperative, & thus you obsess over until you have it - having "gone off" or is "ticking".
1. "My geekological clock is ticking cause i STILL don't have the new Zelda game!"
2. "My geekological clock went off, I have to go out and get this figure RIGHT NOW!"

Geekonomy

1. The business community and economic activity that emerges around geek culture; the production and consumption of nerdy goods and services, such as comic cons and other pop culture conventions.

2. The geekonomy can also refer to products (Star Wars punk rock albums), art (comic book artists), crafts, etc. with a geek interest.

First notably used by journalist Dyer Oxley on episode 40 of the NW NERD Podcast.
"Wow. I opened a booth at Emerald City Comic Con and did more business with my artwork than I do all year!"
"That's the geekonomy for ya."

"The Hoot Hoots released a Star Wars tribute album!"
"That's gonna be a big seller in the geekonomy."

"Bremerton is starting a comicon."
"Yeah, they're trying to get in on that geekonomy."

GEKOLONISEERD

A thing Dutch people comment whenever they see anything remotely Dutch anywhere on the internet.

Gekoloniseerd literally means 'Colonized', referring to the colonial history of The Netherlands. The suggestion is thus that similarly to how the Dutch spread across the globe to colonize far-away lands that they are still spreading, but this time across the internet. One can also view it as a simple statement of "The Dutch were here."

This tradition most likely started on the subreddit r/cirkeltrek on Reddit. Reddit is still the place one is most likely to encounter a comment containing GEKOLONISEERD.

Gekoloniseerd is often spelled in such a way to draw as much attention as possible, with the aim to attract other Dutch visitors. e.g. "G E K O L O N I S E E R D". It therefore also isn't common for such a comment to start a chain of Dutch reactions and memes.
(Random video of picture of anything remotely Dutch)
Person 1: "Gekoloniseerd"
Person 2: "G E K O L O N I S E E R D"
Person 3: "Zeg makker..."

geekosystem

The natural habitat of geeks. A very fragile environment, the disruption of even one small element could throw it out of balance permanently. That is why you must never pick on geeks.
Hey, let's go teach those geeks a lesson!

No, you don't want to mess with the geekosystem

geekosterone

What causes IT Geeks to tell incredibly exxagerated stories about their technical prowess. Effects usually occur when a group of three or more geeks gather, often in the presence of female company, whom they promptly start to ignore in effort to top eachother's epic tales of prowess.
At a party, geekosterone causes the chicks to leave when they hear:

"I rewrote the kernel for Vista, and it was stable and actually worked, but M$oft fired me and buried the code cuz they wanted to shackle the users.'

"That's nothing, I, well actually my cousin in one of those Swedish countries, helped Linus write his first assembly program."
