Faux Apatow 

A movie that has a similar cast and appearance of a Judd Apatow film, but is actually not written, directed, produced or related to Apatow in any way.

I Love You Man, Role Models, Tropic Thunder, Observe and Report, and Year One are examples of Faux Apatows.
