Choppage is another term for Drumfunk, a subsection of Drum & Bass. See also edits and Drumfunk. The Drumfunk sound is characterised by a deep concentration on electronically 'chopping' and rearranging breaks in jazzy and interesting ways. The rarer the break the better. The emphasis is placed on production work and crate-digging. Drumfunk/Choppage/Edits usually has a simple sine-wave, sub-bassline rather than the cheesy, over the top, default-synth-fest and predictable build up and drop of artists popular in drum & bass right now, see Pendulum see also Clownstep
Paradox, Equinox, Fracture and Neptune, Danny Breaks, Seba, Macc, and Fanu are arguably all Drumfunk aka choppage

Short for the whole phrase that Dutch (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) says in the movie Predator, which goes:
"RUN! GO! GET TO DA CHOPPA!"
This can many any number or things, or mean nothing at all.
Frequently it is used when something exciting is happening or will happen and they need to be going someplace. It's used when there is no need to mention where you're going, you all already know where you're going. So you just yell GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!!
Friends get in their seperate cars, about to leave school and meet up at the diner, but before leaving they roll down their windows and one yells "GET TO DA CHOPPA!!" before they all speed off.
Phrase used to describe the act of inserting a magazine into a gun (that is or is like the AK-47.) Mostly used in the deep south, frequently done on December 31st to celebrate the New Year.
