Knights of cydonia

Possibly the wierdest, yet most melodically pleasing song ever written. Anything that muse come up with is pure genius, yet this is a particularly outstanding masterpiece of screaming and apocalyptic moaning.
Person 1: you seen the video for Knights of cydonia yet?
Person 2: nope, but i hear it involves a kung-fu cowboy armed with a laser gun who takes over a small town many years in the future, only to be struck down by an evil sheriff who pins him to the ground in the desert, where he's rescued by a woman on a unicorn.
Person 1: yep...muse are getting weirder aren't they?

Clan Knightmare

One of the oldest, surviving, Quake-based clans. Formed mid-1996 with the release of Quake. Also played Quakeworld, Quake 3: Arena, Counter-Strike, and Quake 4.
Recently the group has focused on MMOs such as Shadowbane and World of Warcraft. The roots of Knightmare can be traced back to the pre-Quake days, as the founders played many 2 versus 2 Doom games over their college LAN, and teamed against others in 2 vs. 2 competition.

To this day, 3 of the 5 original founders still actively play with the clan.

The first clan to apply for legal trademarking of its name in the United States.

The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo

A musical-comedy-theatrical troupe that lasted through the 70s. The large group of weirdos and whack-jobs was fronted by Richard Elfman. The group appeared on "The Gong Show" in 1976 and won. In 1979, Richard turned the reins over to his younger brother Danny, who shortened the name and created the eight-man rock group Oingo Boingo. In 1980, the Mystic Knights were featured in, and performed the music for, Richard Elfman's "no-budget" musical comedy "Forbidden Zone."
The groups acts usually consisted of sight gags and eccentric costumes. The most notable was a giant dragon suit that appeared on "The Gong Show" and, during one of their shows, sprayed the audience with his fire-extinguisher penis. The group had only one release in the 70s by Penthouse Records (a division of the magazine) and is extremely hard to find; however videos and bootleg performances can be found online.
Appearing tonight on "The Gong Show"... The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo!

white knighting

In forum parlance, it means rushing to the aid of another poster for whatever reason. An accusation typically reserved for when a poster is being hammered by another poster(s) and the accused leaps in to defend them, usually without thinking things through as to why the person is being attacked.
Poster A: <Says something unfunny>
Poster B: Shut up, douche.
White Knight: Hey, leave him alone. Why are you all ganging up on him?
Poster B: Quite white knighting, douche.
