stoplight stagger

That way you stagger your car at a stoplight so that your window isn't lined up directly with the car next to you so as to avoid awkward eye contact and/or open-window singalongs.
I was sure to do the stoplight stagger so that guy next to me wouldn't hear me singing along with Justin Bieber.

skanger-banger

Small, crappy car driven by a skanger. Often sporting garish paintjobs, oversized wheels, and loud exhaust systems. Ironically, most skanger-bangers are terrible, shitty cars to begin with (often gifted to the skanger by his mother or grandmother), and the modifications can end up being more valueable than the car itself.
Popular vehicles for skanger-banger-isation include Nissan Micras, Vauxhall Novas & Honda Civics.
"Fintan, call the Gardai, I saw a skanger-banger outside."

Subway Stance

The stance one assumes in order to brace for the sudden start of a subway or train. A good subway stance makes holding onto handrails unnecessary. Styles include, but are not limited to:

The "Cowboy" (wide legged, forming tunnel with legs)

The "Sprinter" (formation of a triangle with the body, hands on the ground, feet on the ground, stomach in the air)

THe "Doggystyle" (assume doggystyle position)

THe "beanstalk" (anchoring foot under seat or luggage to avoid falling)
Dan- "Wow, look at that guy ride the subway! He doesn't hold on to the handrails at all! How doesn't he fall?"

CHristina-"He is an experience subway rider, and by consequence he has perfected a solid subway stance"

Dan-"THATS THE COOLEST THING EVER"
