Free Trade Syndicate

Also known as FTS, this is a hypocritical pirate alliance that is strongly opposed to free trade in the online game Pardus. Their name makes for some irony as they are renowned for their blocking of important sectors, general communist enforcement of trade prices, and restricting spawn points of powerful NPCs for their own members. Generally disliked by most Pardusians except for the Famous Pirate alliance.
"Dammit, my space farm just got raided by the Free Trade Syndicate!"

"Damn those pirates, they were probably after your bunnies!"

trade surplus

the amount of goods and services that a country exports, minus the goods and services that it imports *in a calendar year*. In 1999 Japan exported much more than it imported, so it had a trade surplus. The same year, the United States imported more than it exported, and therefore had a large trade deficit.

While Japan had a trade surplus and the USA had a trade deficit, both had something called a trade balance, which was negative for the USA and positive for Japan.

A country can have an overall trade deficit (like the USA in all years since 1980) and still have trade surpluses with individual countries (e.g., the USA occasionally has trade surpluses with Brazil).
Usually, when a country runs a trade surplus it tends to export the excess foreign currency back to the deficit country as portfolio investment. In this way, the foreign currency retains its value.

Trade Size

A trader for example in the stocks and futures market who likes to trade in huge quantity
for example Trading 100 YM (worth $16.4m time of writing) / ES Contracts (dow jones index & S&P 500 Futures)

or buying 10000s of Apple Shares on the spot.

And of course for the Forex traders 10 lots+
Example 1:
Experienced Trader: I like to wait for pullbacks to my specific price levels and i'll buy 100 YM Futures contracts minimum (of time writing worth $16.4m in cash)
Another Trader: That's alot of size Steve i couldn't handle that.
Experienced Trader: I like to trade size the markets reward those who Trade Size
Another Trader: Oh really steve?
Experienced Trader: Oh yes i like to trade astronomical size!

Example 2:
Steve Ruffley: The ability trade size is a rare, rare thing you know and I'm not even a big trader you know there's guys
out there they are much bigger than me and I trade size because all I make money that's a simple fact
of the matter it's a necessity for me I don't have the interest of patience straight a ten pounds a point it will not give
me what I want out of life so I trade big because the bigger you trade the more money you make
you know you deal with that in your own way.

Straight Out of a Trade Server

This phrase is commonly associated with Team Fortress 2. And can be used to express a non necessarily bad reaction. It's a common thing that in trade servers players are friendly to each other meaning even with the opposite team. Which is perfectly fine, but it becomes a problem when in normal community servers, casual or even competitive matches that happens. Mostly never voted on or asked if everyone is okay with it. Wasting bandwidth and other people's time. It's also a known fact that players who don't care and attack anyways may end up getting vote kicked. Although the whole thing isn't very common, but is horrible in competitive.
He has some nice looking items and unusuals. Yeup, probably straight out of a trade server.

Geez, these faggots are straight out of a trade server, why the fuck are they just standing there near each other in a normal match?!

Trade Show Tryst

One-night stands or occasional liaisons perpetrated after hours at out-of-town trade shows and conferences, usually between conference exhibitors and attendees staying at event hotels. Participants generally expect toll see the other person rarely - if at all - after such adventures.
"Did you see Steve? He's had like four apple martinis and now he's hitting on that girl from the next booth!"

"Yikes. There's a trade show tryst waiting to happen."

Trade Shoes

Apparently, a euphemism for gay sex among those not yet out of the closet, looking for others like them.
"That guy just asked me if I wanted to trade shoes with him... what the hell was that all about?"

"It means he wanted to have sex with you but didn't know if you were gay or not."
