Many college freshmen experience the harry potter syndrome in the summer after their first year.

Person 1: "Man, I can't believe how good Deathly Hallows was."

Harry Potter Sonic Obama 10 

Harry Potter Sonic Obama 10 is an infamous bootleg of video-game character Sonic the Hedgehog. He is commonly known for being on a backpack which had the words Harry Potter & Obama & a miscolored Sonic with a 10 on it's chest. This bootleg is one of the many bootleg Sonic mascots to rise in popularity over the years.

Harry Potter (series) 

A seven-book series by J.K. Rowling. The series follows a boy named Harry Potter as he learns he is a wizard and spends six years at the wizarding school Hogwarts. While he is there, he and his two friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger get into many adventures.

The seventh year (and book) involve Harry going through trials to get to his arch-nemesis, Lord Voldemort. Though he is ultimately successful, Harry is plagued by the deaths of many of his friends and allies in the final battle.

The movies follow the storyline loosely, and leave out some crucial parts to fill time slots. The seventh book will be split into two movies.

Harry Potter Syndrome 

Harry Potter Syndrome (or HPS) is the phenononom when you begin to read a book (usually Harry Potter but also another interesting novel) around 11 pm. After reading a satisfying amount, you decide to go to bed. You look at your clock and realize it is now about 4 am.

John pulls into the office an hour late, with sleepy eyes.
John: Sorry guys, I got Harry Potter Syndrome last night.
Eduardo: *snicker* *snicker* Dork...
John: I guess... but Cedric died D:
