-these do not necessarily imply that these people are carnal sex-crazed animals whose sole desire is to seek sex. They are not akin to boiling pots of water that can
overflow at anytime. Most of these people fall in love with young people the same way as adults who fall in love with other adults. Then later in the
relationship, sex becomes relevant.
-These terms should not be used to denote actual sexual activities between adults and younger people, because most people with one of these never actually engage in them, and those who do often lack chronophilic attractions. 4
