full-contact accounting

The activity that is taking place on the floor directly over your office or cubicle. It sounds suspiciously like orangutans wrestling aligators in a dumpster.

It is still less annoying than some putz failing to turn off the all-page while they shuffle papers and manipulate their stapler.
Office Drone #1: "What the hell is that? Sounds like a train derailing."
Office Drone #2: "Must be the new full-contact accounting system."

Hierarchy of Contact

In the digital age we all have a multitude of options for communication. It can be inferred that there is a kind of "Contact Hierarchy" and "Contact Continuum" as not all modes hold the same weight with communication ranging from 1-10.

Hierarchy of contact in 2010 as defined by this contributor:

1. Face to face
2. Telephone
3. Personal Letter
4. SMS, BBIM
5. Email
6. Personal message eg FB
7. Instant Message eg FB, MSN
8. Wall postings, comments
8. "Like," "Poke"
9. Nil contact.
10. Active blocking of contact.

Note: Higher order = increased responsiveness.

A more serious and/or important matter or message would attract a higher order of communication, with the top order being face to face. There are so many ways to communicate, the options are greater than ever before. But is all modes of communication the same, and attracting the same weight of force? Therefore there is a hierarchy. This may vary per user, but there is a hierarchy.
Hierarchy of Contact refers to how the more important the message or reason to communicate, or the person to communicate with, the higher in the order that communication would be. Conversely, less important is therefore lower.

Example, you really need to speak with someone about something serious, you want to face to face with them. If its not serious at all, you might make a posting on their social network wall.

At the end of the hierarchy is active blocking, where someone deliberately refuses any mode of contact.

contract weasel

A contract weasel is a person in a large sales organization that just sits around the office. He/she will appear busy when the boss is around. But in all actuality they are doing personal business on the company time. The only reason they are sitting there is to catch a call in or a person to walk in to the office. This type of individual is very very common in Military Recruiting offices. Although they are less common in the civilian world. Because their types of actions would get them fired. This person also has close association to the boot weasel. They think they know everything there is to know about sales but they really don't know shit.
Hey Jim who do you have going to MEPS this week? I am sending down Tim...What? you mean that dude I met last week down at the store. Yeah he came in ready to join. What the fuck? You are nothing but a damn contract weasel. Thanks for nothing you jackass now I have to go to Mount Olympus because I am going to roll a zero this month.

Contractaholic

Someone who extremely enjoys/likes a lot/ gets off on signing contracts

Generally gets into long term commitments because of the joy that comes from the moment of signature as opposed to proper long term planning.

Negative consequences of the contractaholic are working at jobs that require skills not possessed, or renting apartments to expensive to own, both resulting in premature expulsion and forcing the signing of a new contract
marriage
1. Deena left the dorm for an apartment just cause she loves signing papers, that woman is a contractaholic

2. Now she's getting married, moving into a new home and getting a new phone deal for the 3rd time this month. Talk about contractaholic

Contact Shame

When you watch or see something so embarrassing that you feel embarrassed; feels like you had something to do with it.
I had real contact shame after watching a Musical.ly video.

Contact shame is really bad especially if you're watching with friends or family

contact buzz

To get high from someone who is smoking a joint near you.
You are at a concert or other function, not doing drugs. Someone next to you is smoking a joint and you get a contact buzz because you breathe in the cannabis saturated air around you.
