solid A 

A term you say when someone asks you how hot their friend is and you don't want to hurt their feelings. You don't say that he/she is a Solid 10, or a dime, because that is an actual way of rating the hotness of people.

Person 1: Hey, do you think my friend here is good looking? *motions towards friend*

Person 2: ... He's a solid A. No homo. *runs away from friend*

solid as a soup sandwich 

Describes a person who was once trustworthy, but is no longer so, or someone who is simply untrustworthy.

The person is un-solid, much like the soup sandwich.

That guy was suppose to pay me my 20$ today, but he didn't even answer his door. He's as solid as a soup sandwich.

Flight attendant Steve: These passengers are barbaric, I can't take it anymore!

Flight attendant Sarah: What are you going to do?

Flight attendant Steve: I'm outta here. I'm going to grab two beers, POP A SLIDE, and run off across the taxiway.

Flight attendant Sarah: Nice.
