Clamshell Packaging

An idea that looked good on paper but actually causes more harm to the honest user rather than the intended criminal.

This sealed plastic dome causes many Americans to injure themselves in a magical rage, as there is no way to conventionally open the package with bare hands.

Even with scissors one can find themselves busting a blood vessel trying to free the product imprisoned in the case of failure.
Nathan couldn't get his headphones out of the clamshell packaging, and he resorted to biting and tearing until he split open his lip.

Packaged Air

A packet of Doritos or similar snack foods where up to half of the packet is filled with air, Packaged Air generally leaves the buyer feeling extremely ripped off.
"Hey Evan, care for a bag of packaged air?"

Pre-packaged deal

When someone has a close friend or significant other they simply can not hang without. It's hard to invite just one without upsetting either of the two.
Person1: "Hey man, want to invite Chris to the casino with us?"

Person2:"He probably won't enjoy himself if Jacob isn't invited too. They're a pre-packaged deal".

Wacky Packages

A set of bubble gum card styled stickers produced by the Topps Chewing Gum company, with pictures of spoofed household products. A "non-sport" card. The concept later spawned Garbage Pail Kids.
Wacky Package spoofs include Mountain Goo, Dums (for the dummy), Duzn't Detergent, and Life Servers candy.

Packaged Cake

A cake (usually of the birthday/party variety) that has come into contact with male genitalia.

Packaging Hymen

The seal around the opening of an unopened container that lets you know that no one has been in there yet.
This mayonaise hasn't been tampered with, the packaging hymen is still intact
