Pronounced "atting"

The act of placing unnecessary @ signs (a la Twitter) before people's names on non-Twitter social networking websites, blogs, etc. when responding to their comments.

Using the @ as an affectation.

"Yes, @Fred, I think that's a great idea. @Donna, what do you think?"

Dude . . . why are you @ing? Just use names!

-ing it up 

Phase to show your are in/going to do an action.

Widely used already, like mixing or tearing it up, it can be applied to less used verbs.
ie- I'm gonna go home and sleep it up,
(getting rest)
Yeah, we're just bassing it up

ing-ing 

An adjective describing undescribable joy or worth. Something heavenly or beyond Godliness.

OR

An adjective describing tedium, bordom, or undescribable hell.

It stems from the common adjective ending of "-ing" and is simply repeated but said differently. A dragged accent is spoken on the first "ing" rather than the second. Normally when spoken, there is a pause prior to the word. When written, an elipses comes before it. Use it cautiously.

"ing" guy 

A guy that likes things that end in "ing". Such as hunting, fishing, etc.

My friend likes to go hunting and fishing. I don't. I'm not an "ing" guy. I prefer a good book.
