Industrial Architecture

These are structures and buildings such as factories, furnaces, power plants, manufacturing facilities, heavy-duty pipes, etc. Industrial architecture also descibes the features and appearance of these industrial structures. Buildings of industrial architecture are usually found in scattered areas inside or outside the outer fringes of a city, or amassed in a large designated area known as an industrial park.
Industrial architecture can be found everywhere and in every town. The cover of the Alan Parsons Project album "Ammonia Avenue", features a road surrounded by a large system of heavy-duty industrial pipes carrying ammonia and other chemicals.

An overworked and underpaid employee - of a pretentious registered practitioner of the arts (a prat). Many years in tertiary education have left the 'architect' bitter and in debt - and unable to relate to the remainder of society.
I am an 'architect' - the rest of you are unimaginative scum.

architecture

A course where students slave over countless hours of work to hopefully receive a C. It is also expected that most of the students will switch into a more fulfilling major that is easier.
"My architecture class is great this week. I've gotten two hours of sleep and I almost have a C in the class.

Architecture

Architecture is the study of building design, as well as the practice of designing buildings. The field of architecture does not require as much mathematical knowledge as engineering; instead, a greater emphasis is placed on creativity and artistry. The average salary for architects is within the 70-80 thousand margin, while "rookie" architects may start off making around 40 thousand. It is very possible to become very wealthy as an architect, though it is uncommon. Someone who becomes famous for their designs and is very sought after is known as a "starchitect."
Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice is an example of Byzantine architecture.

Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect is one of a number of job titles used for someone working in IT who has no real function.

Solutions Architects wander around looking important and can often be seen in meetings although no one is quite sure why they are there.
John: That guy in the meeting just now. Any idea who he was and why he was there?

Sue: That was Jim. He's a Solutions Architect

John: Ah right.

Architect Jenga

When you take the Jenga blocks and create your own tower with them. It takes more skill than regular Jenga since everybody doesn't know where the structurally unimportant blocks are. It also takes skill to create the tower, instead of just turning the container upside down.
Harry: Wow, that looks pretty cool.

Tom: You haven't played Architect Jenga before?

pigeon architect

A software architect who swoops in, deposits a mess, and flies away leaving the development team to clean up.
The company's new pigeon architect just shat on my project.
