Godwin's law 

Usenet There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.

Godwin's Wall 

The point in a conversation at which you realize that the person you're talking to is an intractable Nazi (or close enough). Usually encountered during "alternative fact"-laden discussions with supporters of reactionary movements, e.g., Donald J. Trump.

When Mr. Bannon started frothing at the mouth and calling me a "Cultural Marxist", we sorta hit Godwin's Wall, so I sent Mexico the bill and left.

Godwin High School

One of the best high schools in the state of Virginia, both athletically and academically. Those who bash on this school because of the "Hoes" and "Stoners" are only focusing on a minority of the population and have failed to research Godwin's scores and graduation rate. Godwin High School is home to one the most pleasant faculty/staff that you will ever come across. Mr. Nguyen is the face of the Eagles.

Godwin Effect 

An effect wherein any otherwise logical or reasonable argument becomes invalid simply through the referencing Nazism, the resulting imbroglio and fevered invoking of Godwin's Law thus rendering productive debate impossible.

Person 1: Your political agenda seems to hold many direct similarities to the politics of the Nazi Party in pre-WWII Germany, doesn't that concern you?
Person 2: ZOMG!! Godwin!! You are mean, and crazy!!!
Person 3: Yeah, dude...I agree with you, but you can't call someone a Nazi! WTF?!?
Person 1: But...it's a valid comparison!

Godwin High School

Godwin High School has it all:

1. Money- under this category falls the preps and the druggies who literally snort away their parent's income. These girls shop at Nordstrom's as much as I shop at Walmart. The guys here dress like hobos to pull off the perfect "stoner look" which goes hand in hand with their drug obsession.

2. Sluts- these girls are bangable... literally. Godwin will provide you with a large selection of services.. male or female ;). Highest STD rate in Henrico?!

3. Wanna be lesbians- penises are so last year, the new fad is girl on girl action and threesomes. Helllllll yeahhhhhh. Godwin ladies are ladies on the streets and freaks in the sheets if ya know what i mean. Virgins were so elementary school...

4. Alcoholics- they piss their money away when they break the seal every weekend after a great night of blacking out and "what the fuck happened."

i wouldn't be surprised if one of Godwin High School's students landed on 16 and pregnant or Teen Mom, but as long as they incorporate the latest designer baby bag and rock the new rock and republic maternity line they will be golden.

Godwin's Second Law

Many people know of Godwin's Primary Law; as an arguement becomes more heated, the likely-hood of references to Nazi's and/or Hitler increases. His secondary law is that; as the likely-hood of Nazi's and/or Hitler being mentioned in a thread, in direct reference to his Primary law, increases, so to must the chances of his own law being referred to. This will usually have little effect on the actual thread and will merely result in minor lulz.

Godwin's Fourth Law 

Godwin's fourth law is a term created by Godwin fans, not mr. Godwin himself. The term means that the longer you talk with a conservative, the more likely he is to bring cops and soldiers into the discussion, and compare them with the currently debated subject, even if the comparison seems outright impossible or not making any sense at all.

I was talking with John the other day, about these poor abandoned cats at the animal shelter. The guy invoked Godwin's fourth law and said that soldiers aren't treated any better when they come back home. It's hard to understand him sometimes.
