godmoding 

When one plays a character that can never be destroyed, harmed, etc. The character, however, can hurt and/or kill the other characters without giving the other characters a chance.

This is highly illegal in most, if not all, roleplays.

Sarah = Regular player
Bob = Godmodder

-Sarah aims her arrows at Bob and then releases-
-Arrows go through Bob and Bob jumps up and reaches into Sarah's chest and drags out her beating heart, squeezing the life out of it and killing her-

God mode 

God mode is a term used in the nofap and carnivore diet communities. God mode means doing nofap and the carnivore diet at the same time. Combining the benefits of nofap with the benefits of the carnivore diet is called going God mode.

Person 1: “Did you notice that Bill put on 20 lbs of muscle, his voice got lower, and girls ask him for his number?”

Person 2: “Yeah I noticed that about Bill. I heard that he went God mode.”

godmodding 

Mispelling of Godmoding & God Modding in rpg and forum settings, thus the meaning is the same. The term applies to "Godly-modification" or "Godlike-modification" to a character, through skills such as evasion and the like, as well as the character's personality which usually consists of a superior "I know all, see all, and am all", et cetera. The singlemost annoying and obnoxious gamers on the planet. Tend to act like 7 year olds when they don't get their way during games of pretend, i.e. - Bang, you're dead! Yeah huh, I killed you and you can't play anymore!

Godmodding Bill not only managed to magically know the secret base's true location, but also passed all of the armed guards by hopping from tree to tree like a natural-born monkey, and managing to rewire the electric locks which were state-of-the-art using a paperclip and a piece of fuzz from his pocket. Once inside, Bill used his deadly and artful bare hands (along with a combitionation of poison that he had learned in one week to brew in his toilet) to take down 38 of the guards and dogs, inside. That done, it was a mere task of busting through fifty-eight doors and cartwheeling gracefully through the laser beams, before waltzing into the innermost vault and plucking up the plans for complete world domination.

god mode 

1. A cheat in many video and computer games that typically renders the player invulnerable.

2. In roleplaying, when one player speaks or acts as another player or group of players or causes them to feel or think certain things without their consent, or resolves a situation without input from a game master or moderator.

1. The end boss kept one-hitting him so he turned on god mode and rushed it with his axe.

2. The player was banned after godmoding a combat situation which resulted in another player's death without giving him opportunity to react.
