Couch sleeper 

More commonly referred to as a dirty hipster, a couch sleeper is an individual who engages with other hippies in a social setting, typically have a low standard of living, and don't take showers as often as they should. They also have no problem sleeping on the couch of someone they just met, and typically do it every weekend.

They love indie bands such as Grouplove, and Passion Pit.

This dirty hipster invited me to burning man this year, but there's no way in hell I'm going, nothing but a bunch of couch sleepers there.

couch skiing 

The act of a person sitting on the couch and jerking off men on each side of him/her, at the same time. The simultaneous jerking off motion resembles using ones poles to descend down a ski mountain.

Couch Sending 

When you sign up for a fitness event. Half marathon or longer. Typically involves some level of training. But, you don’t train. Sits on the couch instead. Then comes race day. Oppppps.

Bro! I’ve been training the last year for this sick trail marathon! Got through the whole Lord of the Rings, Netflix true crime documentaries and Star Wars series while I was training by reading about running from the couch. Couch sending!I got this!

grandpa's old cough syrup 

Grandpa's old cough syrup usually refers to a hot toddy. A drink made with one shot of whiskey, a half cup of boiling water, a spoonful of honey, and a splash of lemon juice. Variations include adding cloves and/or cinnamon sticks then letting the drink brew for approximately 5 minutes before serving.

The nickname of Grandpa's old cough syrup comes from the hot toddy being used as a cold/flu remedy.
