The 'droppings are steaming' or indeed any general description of the droppings temperature/circumstances as an analogy to any situation. It is an informal phrase very rarely used in writing, due to its reactionary nature. The idiom originates from a passage in Lord of the Flies where a character, Jack, is hunting a pig and notes with some satisfaction that the droppings he has just encountered are steaming. He is pleased by this, as it means a pig must have been there recently.

Case of the Drops 

Condition that occurs when copious amounts of alcohol are ingested, simple motor function, such as grasping a beverage, is a difficult task. Holding on to beers, bottles, glasses, random things picked up for assessment are dropped repeatedly. Usually broken up into Stage 1 through 4, with stage 4 being terminal...resulting in the person hitting the floor because they can no longer stand.

Alison keeps dropping her phone, she must have a Case of the Drops and Abby just fell down the stairs, she must have a Stage 4 Case of the Drops, I've heard that's terminal.

This word means to have sex after a long period of time has gone by since one has engaged in sexual intercourse. This is normally used for males referring to the wetness of a vagina would be quenching the thirst or "Ending the Drought" of their penis, but this could also go for women too, as they would be ending the drought after becoming extremely aroused after a long duration without sexual interaction.
