On
social media platforms between the hours of 1am and 5am, users who view, like, and post content (especially memes) are taking part in sad
nibba hours. The phrase "sad
nibba hours" presumably was coined in reference to people with depressive disorders who stay up late into the night, looking at memes and suppressing the excruciating pain of reality.
When my friends Sarah and Haras went to the club
without me, I stayed up long into sad
nibba hours, staring at memes and wiping away the tears of my
existence with a Gucci handkerchief.
