Pronounced hodge-ing:

Hodgeing verb is the art of sitting around in a lazy manner while slightly, or haveing the appearences of, being hung over.

The standard method of hodgeing requires the use of a lawn chair, but recently it has been addapted to any chair shaped object avalible.

Hodgeing is normally done by a leader or supervisor type that sits around doing nothing while others are hard at work.
Hurdler #1: Look over there, the hurdleing coach is hodgeing off again.

Hurdler #2: Yeah, that lazy ass good for nothing. what do we pay him for anyway?

Hurdler #1: Dunno... beats the hell outa me

When a person denies or ignores incidences of racism and instead choses to focus on obfuscation or attacking those who call out racism.

Adjective: Butting in to a conversation you have nothing to do with, just to insert your own opinion, often preceded by stalking around those conversing in anticipation

When Hodging is done properly, It will always be preceeded by the word "Hodging" in order to inform the group that you are about to seriously piss them off

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
