Nutty slack

Ooooooh! I'm so annoyed people keep getting this definition wrong!

Nutty Slack is a hard toffee containing Brazil nuts and or peanuts.
I was trying to explain to my daughter what it was and she thought it was a swear word,
Back in the day you were dammed lucky if you got a small piece in your Christmas stocking for Christmas.

Although it is true that the nut would be almost whole when you had a poo but surely that was a small price to pay.
Wow! How lucky am I! A chunk of nutty slack for Christmas.

Nutt sack

(vt). To reject and demonise one who, when asked, offers scientific advice contrary to the agenda of the PTB (govt, industry). Commonplace in oppressive/fundamentalist regimes such as UK, USA, etc. From Professor David Nutt's sacking in November 2009.
"I gave them the report they asked for, but they Nutt sacked me! Now I have to move to Bolivia and find alternative work"

getting fired for stating the facts

(Oct 30, 2009: The UK government's top drugs adviser Prof David Nutt, of England's Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) was sacked (fired) because he stated that cannabis is "less harmful than alcohol or nicotine", after the drug had been upgraded to the more toughly prosecuted Class B from Class C, against scientific evidence.)
