Plebe is a latin word used in the popular Banda music genre used to describe "The people" , " Our people". In the modern world, young men and women can answer to the name of plebe. It is no longer derogatory, and makes reference to your friends and the people where you come from.
For instance:

In the song Ella baila sola by Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma.

"Puro Eslabón Armado
Pa' las plebitas
¡Cha-chau!"

Or in the song Niño de Oro by Hadrian
"Mi gusto por las mujeres
Siempre firme con los plebes"

buddy two: Ya, I know. I heard his sargeant was going to smoke the shit out of him and his plebe brothers later, though.
