A term use when contacted by a person in different forms or fashions after long periods of time only to spark up previous emotional attachments which are entertained but ultimately shut off along with contact only to be contacted again in the future for a replay of events.

Man I got brooklyned again, she hit me up and shit was going good then POOF she cut it all off and went ghost. But that’s ok it happens 3-4 times a year.
