A different way to spell Ludvig.
The
name Ludvig, or Ludwig, originated in germany, where they pronounce it "Ludvig" with a G on the end. In later years, the
name spread to different parts of the world, and
people eventually started saying "Ludvik" with a K on the end, even though it was spelled "Ludvig". Some
parents then decided that it should be written the way it was pronounced. Therefore, they named their
children Ludvik.
Humans named Ludvik will often rage at any humans that spell their
name "Ludvig", even though the one misspelling it had no way of knowing how it was "supposed to be". All Ludviks will spend the first year of any new school trying to get everyone to spell their
name correctly. If you pronounce their name "Ludvig", there's a good chance they'll punch you in the face.
Of course, there are always exceptions, and some Ludviks will understand that it's hard to know how their name is spelled. However, if they tell you how it's spelled more than once, and you still can't figure it out, they will not be happy.
Yo Ludvik, grab me a snitchel, will ya?
Hey
Ludvig!
Ouch! What the fuck was that for?
Is it Ludvik with a k or
a g on the end?
