Mediocre Dick Energy (MDE)

MDE is a complete lack of confidence and zest due to the fact that one is packing a small gun. Like conceal and carry, but for a baby. #babycock
This girl (siphoe) said she wanted a Hot Big Ben, but unfortunately I am packing Mediocre Dick Energy (MDE)

premium mediocre

Attempts at being upscale when you have little clue what class really is. An attempt to be fancy, when it's in fact little more than a polished meh. A little splurge to get fancy, when it's flexing a little bit of status from spent money more than achieving a high standard of quality. Still essentially mediocre, but with some fancy frills polishing the appearance without substantial improvement.

Originally coined by Venkatesh Rao in 02017 "Premium mediocre is the finest bottle of wine at Olive Garden." it has quickly spread from Twitter throughout the intarwebz.
"I wanted to impress her, so I took her to a fancy restaurant." "Yeah bro? Like where?" "Red Lobster" "Man, that ain't fancy, that's just premium mediocre."

McMansions are about as premium mediocre as you can get.

mediocrement

n. It's like a compliment, but not. But it's also not an insult.
3 examples of a mediocrement:

"Hey, you're not the grossest person I've ever met!"
"Well, you didn't miss ALL the pins on your last bowl."
"Here, have a participation trophy."
