Jack booting 

Jack booting is a derogatory term used to describe a system, usually a government, that utilizes force (police or otherwise) to coerce people into compliance.

"I can't stand democracy, you have to pay taxes, and if you don't get arrested! that's jack booting!"

"People should just do whatever they want, no one should be jackbooted into compliance!"
