St. Mattress by the Springs

Your bed on Sunday morning. Where you mattress worship.

The "Name" of the church you say you attend on Sunday morning, when the truth is that you are just sleeping in.

What you say to "friends" that want you to attend church with them and you don't want to hurt their feelings - "I attend St. Mattress by the Springs".
Bob: Hey-Wanna go to church with me? You do attend somewhere don't you?

Thom: Sorry, can't go with you, I attend St. Mattress by the Springs, but thanks anyway.

Donkey in the Spring

When you're ridiculously horny. So much so that you can't focus on anything because your mind keeps wandering back toward your horniness.
Man 1: Do you want to go to the bar?
Man 2: I can't man... i'm going to be rubbing up against everything i see..
Man 1: You're like a donkey in the spring.

The Spring Street Ballet

No Honey, we are going to a cultural event. The Spring street ballet, if you must know!

Cut the strings

Refers to the strings of a puppet. Cutting the strings means that you are being "real" and not fantasizing or dreaming about something. Being a puppet means that you are not responsible, not a man, always dreaming about unrealistic things. Cutting the strings means you stop and think rationally about something.
Me: "what if we made our own shoe brand and moved to California selling the best shoes ever!"
Bro: "dude, cut the strings, you know that ain't never gonna happen"

See the strings

Anything that takes you out of a book, film or tv show by exposing the creative process.

In old movies where you could literally see the string holding people up, you would be taken out of the film because you could see the method of creating the effect, and be reminded you were watching a movie. Examples could also include speech making in books and films, where the characters are spouting the writer's philosophy, or going into expositional dialogue.
That speech just ruined it for me; I could see the strings.

That lazy coincidence took me out of the story completely - I hate it when I can see the strings.
