Queen

The best glam rock band after David Bowie, they did pop rock in the eighties too, which was also good. The also had the best singer in popular music, Freddie Mercury.

Queen was quite a great band, too bad Freddie Mercury died. They'd still be making great music today.

The tenth greatest band of all time after Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Björk, The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, Beck, The Pixes, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Sonic Youth. A very influential band for pop-rock bands.

The Smiths were a great band, and Morrissey has a great solo career too. Not as great, but still good.

Sonic Youth

The ninth best band ever, after Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Björk, The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, Beck, The Pixies, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Not as influential as The Pixies, but more talented, just not as fun to listen to.

Sonic Youth is a very kickass band.
