eclipse memory 

Eclipse memory would denote a condition in which a person remembers something only vaguely or indistinctly. It is characterized by partial loss of memory and not by complete amnesia. It may be referred to as impaired or dim memory.
Dude, that guy could not completely remember what he was doing yesterday when we called at his house. As you know, he is has a problem with memory- an eclipse memory, to be precise.

kick-the-dog effect

The angry behaviour shown by a person when he has to accept all blame and he cannot shift it to anybody else because he is in the lowest rung of hierarchy in his organization. This happens when a boss, who is to blame, shifts the blame to his junior, who, in turn, passes it to his junior and so on till the blame reaches the lowest-ranked staff, who cannot pass it to anybody else. Then he goes home and takes it out on his dog by kicking it about.
Angry at having to bear the blame for no fault of his, the peon came back home in the evening and kicked his dog repeatedly. A kick-the-dog effect, isn't it?

barchitecture 

The technique of building a barroom and decorating it with attractive furnishings and lighting as well as providing for music facilities so as to make the environment fascinating and thrilling so that the bar patrons may be spellbound in a state of intoxication, literal or otherwise.
We are all impressed by the architectural design of the bar. It is a paragon of fine barchitecture.

phantom reminiscence

Phantom reminiscence takes place when one seems to reminisce about a past event that did not actually take place.
Dude 1: Why did you not come to me yesterday? I called you up twice.
Dude 2: But, you did not. A phantom reminiscence, I think.

A restaurant that serves only veg food; a restaurant that specializes in veg food.
He has been looking for a vegetaurant for hours but has not come across one.
