Adjective. There's no official size range available, but any item small enough to easily get lost in the strangest of places earns itself this description because it's small enough to be picked up by a mischievous fairy, fae, or other small mystical creature looking to cause minor inconveniences.
don't take your eyes off of that fey-sized 10 mm socket! It's the fourth one I had to buy and I KNOW that little twerp WILL disappear!
