Short for "kee kee," an affectionate blanket term for one's pet cat. Also used as a phrasal verb as in "keek it up," meaning to go friggin nutz as during a cat's freak out time, usually between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m.
The condition one finds oneself in after spending an appreciable amount of time in nithering conditions. The kind of cold where you can't feel your fingers, toes or nose any more, and don't look forward to them coming back, cos it'll hurt.
