ma se kind
South African slang, originally from Cape Coloured community. Means "mothers' child". It is what you call a very close friend, because they are like your brother/sister, so they are like another child of your mother. Sometimes also spelt as masekent, or masekint.

A police vehicle in South Africa. They used to be yellow during the Apartheid government, hence the reference to cheese.

Wank ear
The heightened sense of hearing a young man develops when he masturbate in a house with other people. Despite masturbating he intensely listens for anybody approaching his location so he has ample time to hide his penis, clean up his immediate environment, and maybe hide any pornography he might be using.

Tsek
South African. Shortened from the Afrikaans "voetsek" which is used similarly as the American English "scram". It is usually used to chase away a stray animal, and adds a level of disrespect when used on another person. Can also be used as a playful term of incredulous dismissal similar to the American slang "get outta here". More commonly used in Western Cape slang and coloured communities.
Bundu
A Bantu South African word that refers to a wild uninhabited region far from towns or civilization. Same use as wilderness.
