fudbucket 

Fear, uncertainty and doubt. It's enough to derail a project or change strategic direction. Invented by IBM, perfected by by Microsoft against companies such as Novell and Oracle, it's become mainstream.

A fudbucket is just that, a large sloshing sloppy bucket of FUD, ready to be slung at any moment. It's always several layers deep.

Can you believe it? He chucked the fudbucket and now we're replacing all the hardware!
