A movement where people select a life role to play as in a role playing game and then they keep that role for a life time playing it 24/7. So the people take of a new idenity and life. they relate to each other the same way throughout life and sometimes live together in communities so they can relate to each other through there chosen lives better. Many people who hate there lives go into this movement.

A modern Hetaira would have many rights and be highly trained. With laws against beating and any kind of mental cruelty. In other words there would be on bitch slaping alowed with a Hetaira.
They could own property and have the right to retire and get social security payments ect. and have there own personal,romantic and sexual relationships.
women could be brought into the Hetairai from different sources. They could sell themselves into it or parents could sell the daughters into it and they would be alowed to live at home while they got an education and were trained as a Hetaira and after that would have to report to duty much as a recruit in the millitary or they could be rescued from crude sex slavery.
