the birds and the bees

The explanation of sexual reproduction. In old fashioned times people were embarrased to discuss sex let alone tell children. So they used Mother nature as a metaphor to portray sex as a natural thing and not a crime punishable by eternal damnation.

"Now Philip, It's your fortieth birthday and I feel you are ready to know about the birds and the bees.."

thug

A person, usually a man, who has taken to a life of violent crime. Usually raised in a hostile, deprived environment. They could be hanging with gangs on street corners. They differ from gangsters in the respect that hey are not into organising crime. A thug could graduate into a gangster and may work for one, while still doing spontaneous muggings or dealing.
When in gangs they can be proprietary about their turf.

An opportunity, that might be presented by another's carelessness.
An opportunity which can be taken without repurcussions.

dribbling

Controlling he ball across the pitch, by keeping it close to the feet and veering it away from tackles from opposing players.

Risky looking and dubious. Most likely dangerous.
The dice implies you are taking your chances.
