A mythical conspiracy organization of homosexuals controlling the universe, especially the financial, military and cultural worlds. Members could be disciplined by threatening them with exposure and rewarded with elaborate sexual favors. Everything was run from catacombs beneath Omaha, Nebraska. Post-Stonewall, it was sadly discovered that the conspiracy didn't exist.
Oh, he must have been in the Homintern.

walking in fours 

'Walking in fours' is a police technique for patrolling an extremely dangerous neighborhood on foot, and suggests a very aggressive assertion of authority. The phrase is sometimes extended to 'Walking in fours and kicking down doors', that is, breaking into people's houses to effect raids for drugs or guns, or to create a sense of terror.
'They walking in fours and kicking down doors,' said an inmate of East L.A. looking to get somewhere else in a hurry.

walking wide 

Same as ILS (inflated lat syndrome).
After the victory, the team captain and his buddies were walking wide until he tripped over a clod and fell on his face.

bird dog 

(noun) a guy who is primarily interested in romancing other people's girl friends. Immortalized in the 1950s by the Everley Brothers in a song of the same name.

(noun) In mid-20th-century hipster lingo, any situation or environment, but especially a socially coherent one, like a party, job, meeting, show, demonstration, riot, etc. Thus to "make the scene" meant to arrive and be at an event, etc.
"Fuck this scene -- I'm gonna split."

showdown 

(noun) conclusive encounter or contest. From poker, where at the termination of betting the hands of the players who are still in the game are laid on the table and compared to determine the winner. Also used metaphorically. Sometimes "throwdown" is used with this meaning.
"After several weeks of random threats and skirmishes, the two gangs met in the parking lot of Kresge's for a showdown."
