The final course in Super Mario Sunshine. There, the protagonists Mario and F.L.U.D.D. have to navigate the lava lake, high-jump using the Rocket Nozzle and defeat Bowser (and Bowser Jr.) to rescue Princess Peach (for the 268th time).

Due to its name, Corona Mountain is joked by fans to be the source of Coronavirus.

US and Europe: Coronavirus comes from China!
China: No! The US soldiers sent them to China!
Super Mario fans: You're both wrong! It actually originates from the Corona Mountain!!!
Every other people on Earth: WHAT?!?! REALLY?!?!?!?!
