Short for “Inbetween”; A tool featured across multiple animation platforms (such as Adobe Animate, Sticknodes, and Clip Studio Paint), used for generating pre animated frames in between user-made key frames, typically for the illusion of smoothness or to save time.

“I didn’t have enough time to manually animate the background, so I used Tween on the clouds.”

Noun
Short for “Inbetween(er)”; Slightly contemptuous term for Sticknodes users (see: Noder) who use the “Add Tweened Frame” button throughout the process of animating or export with tween enabled.

A contemptuous and derogatory term for an active user of the Sticknodes Animation app and/or community. Often confused with Tweener.
