Thanksgiving Day Parade 

Daytime has always been a good enough time for a parade for most people of generation after generation from cities all over countries that celebrate Thanksgiving, yet some people don't feel like they have enough complete control over events, and try to push it to the night time in some areas (the same people that push people with extended mandates and restrictions that force longtime and loved businesses to close so they can purchase the land for cheap and redevelop it into something they see more dollar signs in).

Somebody must think that all the people that held their Thanksgiving Day parade during the day before them were old school idiots that didn't know how to have a good time, even though people always loved the daytime parades and didn't really want their hearts or minds changed for them.

Discipline 

Discipline is not the same thing as abuse, even if corporal punishment was involved. A father setting his son or daughter straight is not abusive, and there are entirely too many males that get on the News whining about how their father was the most physically abusive person they knew over him being a hardass with them, and there's entirely too many females that claimed/manufactured memories about a father or other family member sexually or physically abusing her because she didn't like getting the same discipline her male counterparts were getting all the time as a kid, or because she wasn't getting the attention she wanted from other people, even if she was getting enough from other people.

There's a few too many whiny guys and girls on the news or other publishings (like magazines) badmouthing their fathers, no wonder they call the news the grief tragedy sympathy industry. Their fathers had to make sacrifices just for them to be on the news talking their shit about them. They are guilty of what crime, discipline their sons and daughters did not like at the time? A kid not getting their ass whooped enough is why there is so much bullshit on the news in the first place, look at this Kyle Rittenhouse kid.

Eminem 

A guy that tells ICP they claim Detroit even though they're from 20 miles away from Detroit in one of his songs, yet he's from a town in Missouri hundreds of miles away from Detroit. You would think the people originally from Detroit would wonder which one of them is lying to them more, if they're not both lying to them the same amount.

Eminem is with a group called D12 and represents Detroit even though Detroit is not where he was from originally, he's from Missouri. Perhaps he doesn't like for people to do any background research on him.

hometown 

Where you're originally from.

If you're from a town 20 minutes away from a town you call your hometown now, it's great that you're from there and hopefully you're glad to be from there, but if you're honest with yourself, the town 20 miles away is still your true hometown, that will never change because you can't go back and change it, no matter who in the town you claim believes your heart comes from the same place as theirs, because you aren't telling them the full truth. It doesn't matter what people believe to be true, it matters what is true. No matter what you do for the town you claim, you are not being yourself by claiming a town you're not originally from is your true hometown, your true hometown is where you're originally from, because that is where your heart is originally from, that is where it first started beating. True to life is being true to who you really are, not true to what you want people to see or love. It's better to be hated for who you are than loved or even liked for who you are not.

Something that never really changes, because the past can't be changed, it lives on in the people.

The dork wanted to change the heart of a town she wasn't originally from, but would never get that there was no changing the heart of the people, people that never wanted her around them.
