Gravity 

The annoying thing that keeps you from floating off if you're not in outer space.

She tried to jump up through the basement window out into the straight world thinking she was an Atlanta hawk, but once she came down off the acid she realized she couldn't fly or even jump that high, and she was covered in cuts from all the shattered glass, most of which fell on the floor. Gravity took her down to basement town.

Females 

One lesson females teach you as a male is no matter how close you think you are to a female or what terms you were on with her, she will side with your worst enemy always as long as they are both female, she will always choose her own over you, even if it means stabbing you in the back. Perhaps males are not so different towards females though, perhaps it's about getting even.

It seems at times like males are less biased toward one sex or the other when it comes to defending someone or siding with someone, as males tend to intervene where females are concerned (though they would do the same for males, there is no "special" sex like feminists have, because there are no masculinists).

When somebody would say that was awesome after their team loses instead of "I can't watch this".

You could tell they didn't forget to have a good time even in a loss at home by watching their California loser highlight reel.

When a team that loses a game still does it cool.

Yea, the team lost, true, but how many teams still lose like that? They made it look awesome to lose, that's a California loser highlight reel right there (since not everything in life is about winning or outdoing).

Invincibility 

Claiming invincibility, that you cannot be hurt by a blast from anything, is not the same thing as stating that you were unhurt by the "blast" in the most recent incident.

The new guard tried to detonate a "blast" and dispatch the old guard, but the old guard was unhurt, and their "Valkyrie" was a failure. This is not the same thing as claiming invincibility, that death will somehow miss you on the way to everyone else.

Almost funny how all her visions had dollar signs in them. They were dollar sign visions.

A day where you act like a movie star or famous person, the way people from California do, at least that is the way ignant people think they act all the time.

When you hand the cashier the money, you do it cool, like it was a California day.
