The news tells you less animals are being surrendered during the pandemic. They weren't being surrendered before the pandemic, people are just home now to keep animal control from taking them from where they live.
If you weren't home at the time, the girl would call animal control to get your pet taken from you, the difference during the pandemic is that people are home that keep that from happening now.

Get the Punk ass errand boymug. Theres not really anything social about social media, if anything, social media encourages people to be distant from each other and in their own little world/bubble. There are people nowadays who won't do anything in life if theres not a picture or video to post and comment about. They live to be seen on social media, YouTube, or reality TV, where everything is staged. What happened to enjoying what you were doing so much at the time that you didnt think to film it, you already missed your opportunity to film it and it didnt matter, you got to be human for a few minutes, you were as close to who you really were as you get, no image. That must have ended in the 90s with VCR's for some people.
Social media provides the illusion of being part of a large network, meanwhile some people are getting rich via this platform. There was a time before social media where people actually knew each other in real life and had actual life experience with the other person, rather than the virtual image of someone on a computer screen.

Get the Social mediamug. Theres a few things about the Truman show that fuck with your head. Jim Carrey is a somewhat tall actor, and you think of a Truman character as being a short guy with Napoleon's syndrome. Marlon seems more like a guy that would bring a 40 by and want to listen to reggae music after work than a white guy with blond hair, if he's not an Italian guy that wants to talk business with you. It's not a bad movie, there are just a few inconsistencies about it.
