A few hundred years before they came up with the land bridge, they didn't even know that the New World existed, and they already have an explanation for something like that. At one time, humans were all one people from the same place (before the continents became different continents), in that sense, (Americas) Indians and Asians come from the same place. Otherwise, there's not much connection.
Sure, at one time the land might have stretched out between two different lands like dough before the sea washed it away, but there's also a lot of other things that could have happened. The land bridge is just one attempt to explain it, which is why science is meant to be taken with a grain of salt (even science related to the coronavirus).

Get the Wig split mug.There's more people angered by the job loss and threats of loss of unemployment benefits than there are people scared by the thought of losing everything. These weren't people that lost their jobs over performance or attendance at work, they lost their jobs for no reason other than a group of people made it their agenda to shut everything down.
Unemployment isn't scary, all the effort people put towards their jobs gets turned into bullshit by the same people who want everything shut down. The people who want everything shut down are as much the problem as everybody else.

Get the Unemployment mug.Despite what the media keeps telling people about there not being mask mandates on public transportation until now, 7 months into the pandemic, there have actually been mask mandates on public transportation since near the beginning of the pandemic for amtrak, and since late June in at least one state on buses and public transportation other than Amtrak. When they get more desperate to try and control people's lives and behavior, they start threatening people again with more of the same guidelines while calling them new.
Really the entity that calls themselves the government wants to get away with locking people down again, but they know that at least a few people will always resist it rather than respect it. The masks are just another distraction.
