You are not your grandmother you never met, the other people you've been imitating most of your life, or anybody else you've been posing as. You're you, even if you'd rather be those other people.

A lot of people think what they did, said, wrote, or typed was ignored by most people (since they didn't get a response) when really it was rejected. The difference between ignoring and rejecting is when someone has rejected it, they still saw, heard, or read it and paid attention to it.

You dont get sick from peer pressure, you get sick from pathogens. You dont go to the doctor because of peer pressure, you go because you are sick. Wearing a mask is no different. You dont decide whether to wear a mask because of peer pressure, you decide to wear a mask or not wear one based on whether you're sick.
Peer pressure doesn't change whether someone is sick or not, therefore it should never influence what someone wears on their face or head.

One of the things people are skeptical about with astrology is hearing about things like a rat standing on the back of an ox while playing a flute to win a race. Though some scientist asshole with too much time on his/her hands would likely try and train a rat to play a flute, just to prove it wasn't impossible, to be an asshole, or for who knows what military purpose they might try and get a scientist to do something like that the reality is a guy working in the sewer isn't going to come across a rat playing a flute every day. If rats were really such winners, why would they spend so much of their time in the sewer in the first place?
Astrology seems like another thing people created to categorize and control other people rather than help them understand who they and people around them really are, kind of like god, the devil, angels, demons, and everything else in religion. Calling it a pseudoscience implies that science itself isn't another way to control people by giving them answers that sound good (and that real science is somehow more responsible because it sounds more responsible), instead of leaving them with questions about the world around them. There's a lot of bullshit that goes with any/all of it.

If theres a good thing that came out of Cam Newton's departure from Carolina, it is that Carolina wasnt quick to trade Cam for a white quarterback. It's a good thing for where the league is headed that quarterback and leadership opportunities have opened up, that the captain doesnt have to look, think, or act a certain way. There is such a thing as people who didn't and still don't respect Peyton Manning, so whether or not people respect you doesnt determine who you are or what you do in life, even if it has an effect on you.
There havent been a lot of guys doing what Cam Newton is doing now, theres also teammates, opponents, fans, coaches, and the media he's had to try and get recognition and respect for what he's doing, and has the potential to do. It's not an easy road even if you make a lot of money, but it does still come with choices. Theres a world filled with criticism, it's going to be there anyway.

The guy wasn't ungrateful because he was a Democrat, he was ungrateful because he was an asshole like me. He didn't owe anybody any more than they owed him anything.
