The scientist/medical guy/girl on TV is talking about people who don't wear masks being out of control. No, talking to somebody you're not related to like you're their father is out of control. Fuck the authoritarian bullshit.

Get the Unpleasant suprise mug.There are people who love to try and force young people (20s and under) to apologize, or repent, and be forgiven. Apologies and repentance are overdone to the point that they've lost their point, at what point does the person demanding the apology want you to convert to their belief system?
Sometimes its better to let somebody know you did something on purpose than to think you need their forgiveness to move past it in life, or to repent. Sometimes its better to keep carrying baggage around on your own.

Get the Repent mug.You can live without someone's respect, since most likely you've been living most of your life without the respect of people you don't well, whether they're people you just met at work or people you've known for a while. Your soul might not be replaceable though.
I'd rather be me than you or anybody else, even if nobody likes/respects me for it. Anybody can be trained to do something as a skill, but nobody can train somebody to be who they are, you are who you are for a reason. Respect isn't everything. Becoming a functional part of a machine to get respected isn't any good for me.
