Amusement park buddy

Somebody you go to the amusement park with.

Guy 2- My amusement park buddy has already been on all the rides there 10 times. Amtrak doesn't offer the number of rides she's already been on, it's not just a rumor, its true. I'm not the only amusement park buddy of hers.
Guy 2-Boo, you're not the only one who's got to get rid of her.
Guy 1-She's got one less amusement park buddy, even if she's got all the amusement park buddys she needs already.

Arrogant

Somebody that moves to your neighborhood from theirs, and gets embarrassed by your presence there because they thought they owned the place.

I knew you back before you had a house, a car, or a job, and before you moved to my neighborhood and claimed to be a seasoned, award-winning somebody here, back when you ran to your mother and had her have your father threaten (or woop) somebody instead of the police in your own neighborhood. Arrogant is something you didn't get from your family.

Good acting

Something a team from LA would do naturally, especially at a time they were more desperate than usual. They know Tampa Bay doesnt have the sizable film/TV/music/media/entertainment industry of LA, so they might think of a team from Tampa Bay as suckers for good acting.

Don't put it past a team from LA to resort to good acting at opportune times to try and discourage the other guys. Especially if they think they're smarter than a team that plays baseball out in the sticks.
