Salute the Judge

A way to kiss the judge's ass on a Christmas dance show to win some stupid fuckin TV Christmas dance competition.
At least the group that went before that last group of posers didn't salute the judge, and they even made a few people laugh in the process, even if they didn't get the judge's votes. Winning isn't everything though.

Someone bloated to a mass of about 400 trillion pounds.
If that planet guy continues to orbit around McDonald's like that he's going to be 5'2 and 450 pounds, so he will be wider than he is high.

Laughing against

The kind of laughter that doesn't feel good to anybody, because it's done with/for an enemy/opponent.
Nothing he/she/they did made the guy laugh from enjoyment of it, instead the guy was laughing against him/her/them, he didn't think he/she/they were the funny kind of joke..

A gun is not a reason for a mall full of people to evacuate it.
The folks just outside the city let some guy with a gun take their mall without a fight.

Negative view

A view of someone/something that is not positive.
I'd rather someone had a negative view of me than a false positive one. At least it's their view of me, and not a view I forced them to have because I was desperate to prove I didn't care what anybody thought of me. Of course I care as much as the next guy/girl what other people think of me, but they're still going to think what they are going to think anyway, and that's the reality of it.

A way to get people to stop thinking for themselves.
Living your life the way you did before the coronavirus is no matter what warnings, orders, or restrictions are given, people still do everything the way they did before, be it holidays like Christmas, or anything else in life. There is nothing normal about what people are told is a new normal, there never was.

A coach that tells players a fumble can't happen in a game isn't helping helping them look at the game realistically. Fumbles can and do happen in a game. Expecting a player to play perfect instead of human in a game doesn't allow them to improve any, they're already expected to be at one hundred percent during one hundred percent of the time. The reality is people will make mistakes, and those mistakes will cost them.
The point is not whether you fumble, it's what you do after you fumble. Whether you can fumble and keep going, or whether a fumble breaks you down to the point you can go no further after one.
