Youth

Youth refers to the age or condition of being young. It can also mean a teenager, and teens often tend to get into mischief or trouble easily.

Oh to have the energy of a toddler, the optimism of youth, the strength of a young adult, and the wisdom of the elderly at the same time.

The Youth Leader taught his teens about teamwork , appropriate attitude, and kindness to others.

deductible

An insurance term that means the amount of money that you have to pay before the insurance company pays anything.

If your deductible is 500 but the damage to your vehicle is 75, you pay all 75 dollars, because the 75 is less than your deductible.

a) The act of trying to prevent something or a material that is not affected by something.

b) A militant armed organization interested in overturning the rule of law.

The cold weather jacket was rated for wind resistance.

The Resistance succeeded in destroying the Death Star.

awesome

A term that, before the 1980s, meant something that inspired awe. During and after the 80's, meant cool, wonderful, sexy, great, etc.

Prior to 1980s: "That was an awesome sunset." Or, "Our God is an awesome God. "

During and after the 1980s (though briefly replaced by gnarly, epic, etc): "That is an awesome outfit you've got on!" Or, "Where did you get those awesome shoes? "
