Melano-Obfuscation

A sociopolitical tactic and psychological posture used to protect dominant power structures by clouding discussions of race, often through deflection, false equivalence, or the erasure of historical context.
“Melano-obfuscation thrives when people refuse to connect history to present inequality.”

Melanin Aversion Syndrome

A socially conditioned psychological disposition in which an individual exhibits discomfort, fear, bias, or hostility toward people with higher concentrations of melanin in their skin. This aversion often operates subconsciously and manifests through prejudice, avoidance, or discriminatory behavior.
“Melanin Aversion Syndrome is deeper than racism sometimes—Melanin Aversion Syndrome shows up in subtle reactions and body language.”

Semantocide

The deliberate killing or distortion of a word’s original meaning — especially when the new meaning is used to harm, confuse, or psychologically weaken melanated people.
It’s linguistic warfare: murdering meaning to control perception.
“They changed the definition to make empowerment sound negative. That’s Semantocide.”
Semantocide by Riefy Prescott December 2, 2025
A system of words, policies, or narratives that encode domination, degradation, or death — especially toward Black bodies, cultures, and nations.
It exposes how language can become a silent weapon: laws, slogans, and “official terms” that sound civilized but carry the vibration of destruction.
“Every empire speaks in Lex Necra — policies and propaganda dressed as progress, yet whispering death to the oppressed.”
