The stubborn refusal to give into the ever-growing plague of phone apps, based on an enlightened understanding of their redundant, siloed, and often privacy-invading nature.
Used to describe someone who actively rebels against the tsunami of bloatware, refuses to be another sheep in the herd of app redundancy, and generally believes that smartphones were better when they weren't weighed down by a million "essential" apps.
Note: Appstinate individuals may experience higher levels of battery life, reduced screen time, and a smug sense of superiority when hearing complaints about storage space. Side effects may include missing out on fleeting app trends that nobody remembers after two weeks.

While everyone else was busy downloading the newest fad app, Jenna remained proudly appstinate, recognizing that she didn't need another digital leech sucking her battery and personal data.
Just because there's an app for that doesn't mean you need it. Be appstinate. Resist the urge.

The Tutu Effect: n. The phenomenon of misremembering the Mandela Effect, named after Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who many people falsely remember as being Nelson Mandela. This is often caused by confusing the two prominent South African leaders who were active during the anti-apartheid movement. Can also refer to misremembering details about other events or people that are similar in nature. Additionally, it can also refer to meta-irony, where people recognize that they are having a 'Tutu Effect' moment.
I was convinced that Charlize Theron was in the movie 'Aeon Flux' but my friend corrected me and said it was actually Margot Robbie. I must have fallen victim to the Tutu Effect.

A term steeped in the tradition of cringe-inducing humor, synonymous with painfully punny jokes and facepalm-worthy punchlines. "Guano a Guano" takes its inspiration from a pun on the Spanish phrase literally meaning "bat poop to bat poop," humorously interpreted as "bat to bat." This is a play on the English expression "mano a mano", meaning "hand to hand."
At the family reunion, Uncle Bob went full "guano a guano" with his barrage of cheesy jokes, much to the amusement (and discomfort) of his audience.
