intergnat

An annoying person that hovers over you and watches what you're downloading on the Internet, usually at an Internet cafe or at a library. Does not necessarily have to be a person in authority---could be a nosy kid, impatient person that's next on line to use the computer, etc.
I wish I had my own PC at home. I always get an intergnat or two when I use the 'puters at the library!

An extremely stinky fart; intestinal chemical warfare.
Damn, Harry! Didja just let off a cheezer? What a stiiiiiiink! Light a match! Give it the methane test! See if a blue flame shoots out!

The disgusting sound that you make with your mouth when you're eating anything from the raw bar at a seafood restaurant, especially clams and oysters. A combination of a vacuuming, slurping, and crunching sound.
To really get at all the meat in an oyster, you have to give it a good sloop.

brown thumb

The opposite of a green thumb; a person who doesn't know his brass from his oboe about taking care of plants.
Who are you giving that tree to? I wouldn't trust Lana. She's a brown thumb. You give her any plant, it'll be dead in one day!

The number "666" by itself or in combination with other numbers. A shorthand way of saying "666" when the number is combined with other numbers, as in "one-devil-five-nine-two-eight" for "16665928".
The number on that invoice is "one-devil-three-six-four"

gaeltacht

Any area of Ireland where Irish Gaelic, rather than English, is spoken primarily.
I'd like to go to a gaeltacht and hear Irish Gaelic spoken right from the source.

The English horn (cor anglais), a member of the oboe family and pitched lower than the oboe. Next in lower pitch is the heckelphone, then bassoon, then contrabassoon. The English horn sounds "sneaky" to some people and might suggest crawling insects. I personally LOVE the sound of the English horn and think it has one of the most haunting sounds of any orchestral instrument.
There's Donna playin' the bughorn!
